BIM World Paris 2023: Scan-to-BIM accelerates with AI

BIM World Paris 2023 (April 5-6) brought together 12,000 participants around the digital model, with a strong focus on scan-to-BIM automation.

BIM World Paris 2023, at the Palais des Congrès, confirmed the rise of automated scan-to-BIM. Solutions like Autodesk Recap, PointCab and Scalypso demonstrated automatic conversion of point clouds to IFC models. The show also highlighted energy renovation and the role of BIM in French Tertiary Decree compliance. French players Cintoo and Vercors presented their cloud platforms for massive point cloud visualization. The "Photogrammetry and BIM" conference attracted over 300 participants.
