Terms of Sale

Article 1 - Purpose
These terms of sale govern the sales of digital books concluded on www.scan2reality.com (hereinafter “the Site”) between the seller and any buyer. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms, which are available on the Site at any time. The applicable terms are those in force on the day of the order.
Article 2 - Seller identity
The seller is the company publishing the Site, whose full identification and contact details appear on the Site’s Legal Notice page, whose full details appear in the Site’s legal notice. Contact: info@scan2reality.com, reply within 48 business hours.
Article 3 - Products
The Site offers digital books in PDF format dedicated to reality capture. Each product page sells the book in a single language, stated on the page: each purchase gives access to one language version of the book. The essential characteristics of each book (content, language, number of pages, format) are described on its product page.
Article 4 - Prices
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes, on each product page. The applicable price is the one displayed on the Site when the order is confirmed. The seller may change its prices at any time, without effect on orders already placed. No delivery charges apply, as the books are supplied electronically.
Article 5 - Ordering and payment
Ordering and payment take place through the secure Stripe platform (stripe.com), which accepts major payment cards and local payment methods. Payment data is processed exclusively by Stripe; the seller never has access to it. Applicable VAT is calculated automatically at payment and an invoice is issued and sent by Stripe. The sale is concluded upon payment confirmation, which triggers a confirmation email.
Article 6 - Delivery
Delivery is immediate: as soon as payment is confirmed, the buyer receives a download link for the book by email, valid for several days. If the link has expired or any download issue occurs, the buyer can contact info@scan2reality.com to receive a new link; a reply is provided within 48 business hours.
Article 7 - Final sale and technical support
As the books sold are digital content supplied without a physical medium, the sale is firm and final: no refund is possible once the download has started (see Article 8). To allow an informed purchase, every product page publishes the book’s full table of contents and a free excerpt. In case of a technical problem (unreadable file, lost or expired download link), the seller re-supplies the file upon simple request to info@scan2reality.com. The statutory conformity warranties applicable to digital content remain in force.
Article 8 - Legal right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, implementing EU consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal can no longer be exercised for digital content supplied without a physical medium once performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of that right. By confirming the order, the buyer expressly consents to the immediate delivery of the book and acknowledges losing the statutory right of withdrawal upon download. No refund is therefore due once the download has started.
Article 9 - Book updates
Updates to the purchased book are included at no extra cost. Each new version is provided to the buyer free of charge, upon simple request to info@scan2reality.com.
Article 10 - Intellectual property and licence of use
The books sold on the Site are protected by copyright. The purchase grants the buyer a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence of use. Any resale, distribution, sharing, publication or commercial exploitation of the book, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without the seller’s prior written authorisation.
Article 11 - Consumer mediation
In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, a consumer buyer may refer any unresolved dispute with the seller, free of charge, to a consumer mediator. The contact details of the competent mediator are provided upon written request to info@scan2reality.com. Before referring the matter to the mediator, the buyer must first have attempted to resolve the dispute directly with the seller through a written complaint sent to info@scan2reality.com.
Article 12 - Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. If the buyer is a consumer residing in another Member State of the European Union, they retain the benefit of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence. Failing an amicable resolution or resolution through mediation, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
